1) Are you going to Arrowhead Lakes? 2) Do you need snacks, food, sandwiches, beer? If you said yes to either question, the Pinewood deli is the place for you. Made to order sandwiches, meats, typical deli fare, and plenty of the "oh crap I forgot to get..." items you know you need. Ice cream too! I call it Arrowhead Wawa. I suggest stopping in even if you don't think you need or want anything.

I rate Italian Deli's on the flagship sandwich/hero/hoagie; the italian sub. There are 4 main components - 1. Bread, 2. Meats, 3. Toppings, and 4. Overall Taste. Here is how Pinewood Rates: 1. Bread - Excellent bread, not too hard, not too soft, perfect for a hero/hoagie 2. Meats - Boars Head Brand - They put Pepperoni, Genoa and Ham on the sandwich. The Pep changes the taste, but with Boars Head, you can't go wrong. 3. Topings - Okay here, as there are no sliced pickles, olives or banana peppers. Lettuce was good and cheese was BH provolone. OK, but could definitely be better. 4. Overall - Solid sandwich and not a let down. The location is quite remote, but it is worth the drive for a guaranteed good sandwich.

The sandwiches are great! The beer selection is good. The convenience is also good. The young workers are very nice! The owner is also nice but always looks angry. Smile! You got a nice establishment!

Great place for a quick bite to eat. The sandwiches are tasty and the prices are reasonable. We had a cheese steak & a chicken wrap. Both were very generous with the portion sizes. Also, they have take out beer and they are open late which is nice as well. I'll be returning :-).

They have a little bit of whatever you may need....beer, ice, ice cream, steak and hoagie menu, french fries, pizza, as well as boars head deli meats. Their breakfast sandwiches as also great. One thing they could improve is their coffee sizes. I need a larger coffee than they offer. Overall, it is good place to hit and close to Arrowhead Lakes. I would recommend this place if you are hungry or need a treat. Lunch times can be busy but worth the wait. Stop in a try.
